On Tuesday 14th May a group of Year 6 students visited North West Brunswick Kinder. This was an opportunity for these students to interact and share their learning in Italian. This involved sharing information about themselves such as their interests, leisure activities and aspects of their own identity such as appearance, character and family. These students also recited a poem that they have been learning this term. It was a great experience for our Year 6 students to engage and communicate with the kinder children in Italian.
Last week we met some 4 year old children at North West Brunswick Kindergarten for Italian. This term in Italian we are learning about poems so we were chosen to go and share it with the little kids. We had lots of fun and we spoke Italian to each other we also shared our personal profiles. We all had lots of fun and it was a great experience. Isabella
On 14th March, I went to North West Brunswick Kindergarten for an Italian visit. We got to meet some of the three and four year olds and practice speaking in Italian with them. We practised our chosen poems and we talked a little bit about ourselves in Italian to them. Most of the children there could speak Italian, or were learning to speak Italian, so they could share some language with us too. After we spoke Italian to each other,we were able to join in by playing with them. It was a really great and fun day. Amelia V
What I liked about the Italian Kindergarten was that I got to read my poem and my personal profile to some of the children there and they listened to what I was reading. I also thought it was very fun. I thought that it was fun because I got to be around younger kids and it makes me remember what it was like to be at Kinder. At the kinder with my buddy we played with blocks, and we read some books. I really enjoyed going. Amelia
I really enjoyed our visit to the kinder. It was a good time to spend and chat to the little kids in Italian. It was also good to read what we have done in Italian to them. Overall we all had a great time. Noah
At the kinder we played with the children. We painted pictures, played with playdough and made bracelets. We played dress ups and had competitions on who could build the tallest tower. I really enjoyed reading my Italian poem to them and they even tried reading it too. I hope we can visit again! Claire
