Oodgeroo & Gandhi

Community Day 2019

Recess

In the first Community Day of the year, Oodgeroo and Gandhi Houses joined to raise money for three charities: Plan Australia, ErinEarth and Catholic Missions.

Lunch

Disco

There were many recognisable movie characters moving around the school. Great imagination was used for some costumes, which contributed to a successful day.

Thanks to the supporters of the cake stall and barbeque and to those who baked tasty goods.

After lunch, students could choose between the Dance Party with resident DJ Garry Steman, a film in the Resource Centre or handball tournament in the Central Courtyard.

Overall, support from both students and staff ensured a successful and varied day. It is affirming to observe the manner in which students engaged with such enthusiasm.
