Year 7-10 Parent/ Student/ Teacher Interviews- Tuesday 9th April

Year 7-10 Parent/ Student/ Teacher Interviews are again scheduled for next Tuesday the 9th of April from 4:00-7:00 pm in the College Hall. This is an opportunity to meet with your child’s teachers to talk about supporting and improving student learning. All students and parents are expected to attend. Bookings are open now.

Year 11 and 12 Parent/ Student/ Teacher Interviews- Tuesday 14th May

Year 11 and 12 parents and students are encouraged to book and attend Parent/ Student/ Teacher Interviews on the 14th May (Tuesday Term 2, Week 3) from 4:00-7:00 pm in the College Hall. This is an opportunity to meet with your child’s Stage 6 teachers to talk about supporting and improving student learning. Bookings will early next term.

NAPLAN 2019

Kildare students in Year 7 and 9 have recently participated in a NAPLAN practice  test which was purposeful for preparing them for the NAPLAN tests which will be conducted from Tuesday 21st - Thursday 23rd May (Term 2, Week 4).

The National Assessment Program - Literacy and Numeracy (NAPLAN) assesses the literacy and numeracy skills of students in Years 3, 5, 7 and 9, in schools across Australia. NAPLAN assesses writing, language conventions, reading and numeracy.

Supporting your child

NAPLAN assesses the literacy and numeracy skills your child is already learning in school. Teachers will ensure students are familiar with test formats prior to NAPLAN tests.
