Construction Concreting

Year 12 construction have recently completed a concrete pour project in front of the Mt Erin Heritage Centre, replacing a cracked and unsightly footpath. Students were undertaking assessment in the competencies; concreting to simple forms, and erect and dismantle formwork for slabs on ground. 

Over a two week period, students collaborated to demolish the path, clear the site, install barricades and set out and erect formwork. A late morning concrete pour was completed early Thursday morning.
