RYDA 2019

Rotary Youth Driver Awareness Program was held on Thursday 28 March, at the Wagga Show Grounds, with Year 11 students from Kildare Catholic College attending.

This program equips students with the tools and understanding to see themselves as active, responsible road citizens and make the necessary choices to keep themselves and others safe on the roads.

Students participated in a rotation of six activities including demonstrations of Speed and Stopping, putting themselves in the role of Crash Investigators and learning to make positive Road Choices.

The Rotary Clubs of Wagga and the volunteers were very professional in their organisation and delivery of the program.

Year 11 interacted positively and found the personalised, engaging activities worthwhile.

Thank you Mr Hunt, Miss Fahey, Mr Kennedy, Mrs Galvin, Mr Robinson, Mrs McMeekin and Mr Potts for accompanying the Year 11 students.

I highly recommend the RYDA Program.
