Netball

The Open Girls Netball team competed at the Western Area Gala Day last Thursday.  Cowra High School won all their games.  In the round games they played against Orange, Henry Lawson and West Wyalong High Schools.  In the Final they defeated Bathurst High School.  Well done girls!

Bill Turner Cup

Another great day for the soccer players - it was the 15's Bill Turner Cup and teams turned out to put on a display.

The boys had a great win over St Raphaels 13 - 2.  It was played in good spirit by both teams in very warm conditions.

The girls also had a decisive win 7 - 0 over St Raphaels, demonstrating some good team work and sportsmanship. 

Thank you to Sean Leyland, Chloe Lanham, Emerson Baratto and Darcy Foxall for officiating.  Also thank you to the parents that came and supported the teams, the students love having an audience.

Peachey/Richardson Gala Day

A number of students from Cowra High assisted at the Peachey/Richardson Rugby League Gala Day. Congratulations to Jared Burns, Sam Hampton, Cameron Roberts, Kirra Haeata, Hayden Mullins, Sonny Eastwood and Tom Negus.  The feedback from the NRL development officers was that all students did an outstanding job of refereeing throughout the day. Well done!
