Awesome vegetable growing Michael - this cucumber made for a very delicious snack at school.

EASTER EGG & BUNNY FOIL COMPETITION

Students have been collecting Easter egg and Easter bunny foil from their chocolates over the past few weeks. The class with the largest foil ball will win a prize on the last day of school.

Did you know - aluminium foil is only recyclable if it is rolled into a ball the size of a tennis ball?

.Over the Easter holidays we encourage you and your family to have a challenge of who can roll the largest easter egg and bunny foil ball - maybe try and create one giant family foil ball.

Bread Bag Recycling

Our school is collecting bread bags to send off to Wonder Recycling Rewards. The more we collect the more points we earn for our school. Points = sports equipment. Bring your empty bread bags, no matter the brand to the Enviro Room.

We will be collecting from now until the end of August so we have PLENTY of time to earn plenty of points..

Oral Care Challenge

Exciting news! Our school has signed up for the Terracycle/ Colgate Community Garden challenge. This means, we need your used oral care packaging to earn us votes, the more product packages we collect the more votes we earn, the better our chances of winning a community garden!

It’s easy to get involved, simply bring ANY BRAND completed oral care products (image below) and we will collect them and send them away for recycling. Bring them to the Enviro room.

1 unit of oral care waste received for recycling = 10 Garden Points1 online vote = 1 Garden Point
