Watercolour, ink and oil pastel

During Term 1, the Year 7 Arts Academy students explored the art practice of John Wolseley and replicated his style to produce a large collaborative artwork. The artwork includes a range of illustrations, in watercolour and ink, depicting native plants found around the school. A map of the school has been overlaid in white oil pastel. The aim of this work is to help viewers relate to the “fineness” of nature and the constant changes and shifts in our surroundings.
