District Cross country:
As many of you know 63 students from WVPS went to District Cross Country on the 3rd of May. Well done to everyone who participated in cross country, it takes lots of effort and determination. Congratulations to everyone who made it into the District team and for those who progressed to the Division Cross Country.

Interschool Sports
For interschool sports we played against Iramoo Primary School:
For netball, Team A was a draw and team B, WVPS won. Best on Field votes Mehtab and Yom
For Soccer, Both Team A and B WVPS won. Best on Field votes Rishi and Ella
For the AFL, loss BNF votes Chase
For T-ball, Team draw was a draw and Team B WVPS won. Best on Field votes: Zaidan
For hockey, WVPS won. Best on Field votes: Ryder
There will be no interschool sports match this week because of the grade 6 camp.
HOUSE POINTS
House points are awarded throughout the year to students for sporting events, correct full school uniform, nightly reading, diaries, student of the week and special school events. An update of house points will be released each fortnight via the school newsletter
