What turns a dry, dusty land into a green, lush and colourful one? JU1 and JU2 were visited by Western Water last Friday, where they learnt about the Water Cycle. We saw water as a liquid, a solid (ice) and then gas (steam). We never thought water could be so many different things! We also learnt that precipitation is the rain that falls, evaporation is the liquid getting sucked up by the sun and then condensation is the water being stored by the clouds, before its rained back down on the earth. To really understand this better, JU1 and JU2 actually became part of the water cycle! We had water droplets, the sun, the wind, the desert, the old tree, the desert flowers and a huge big mountain. We also had a farmer waiting for the rain and we had his crops that were very thirsty. How happy we all were when finally our dry and dusty land, had a well needed drink. It was exciting to see all the flowers grow and the river become full. It was a lot of fun and we all enjoyed the visit by Western Water.
