Vacancy

A vacancy has become available on School Council. It is a great opportunity to get close to the school operations and to assist in school governance. I’d like to encourage anyone who is curious about their child’s education on a broader level and has a couple of hours a month to spare, to make enquiries or join. Our next meeting is on Monday 11 November at 7pm.

WPS Communications and Engagement Subcommittee

The School Council are setting up a new subcommittee to improve the communications and engagement. We would like to put a call out to those of you who work/ have skills/ interest/ passion in communications and engagement to join the subcommittee. At this point there are 2 school councillors on the subcommittee. The subcommittee will meet separately to the school council meetings and one of the school councillors will report back to the council on the designated school council meetings. The aim is to get the subcommittee up and running prior to the end of the school year to establish goals for the 2020 school year.
