Feast of Food

It's been a feast of food and celebration this week in Kinder.  Last week the kinder children were experimenting outdoors with sand, water and leaves to make 'bread'.  So of course it was only natural to make our very own bread we could share together for morning tea.  The process of making the bread was just as fun as eating the final product, drizzled with delicious honey.

Our Grandparents' and Special Friends day was another highlight for the kinder children, celebrating family by sharing our kinder space for the morning.  What a beautiful way for our children to feel a sense of belonging and ownership of their learning space, by spending time with family and having fun at kinder.

Our next morning was spent learning about Persian New Year.  With sincere thanks to Ethan's mum Rozita, we learnt about the different ways that Ethan's family bring in the new year in their family and sampled some delicious Persian nougat that was shared together.
