3-way conferences 

Reminder: progress reports for all students at the Secondary School are available for parents on Compass. 

We had a successful conference night last Tuesday with students, teachers and parents. The second and final session will be held TOMORROW NIGHT 6 September from 2pm to 8pm. Bookings close in the morning so if you haven't made a time to meet with teachers, please do so as a matter of urgency. If you are unable to book or need help logging in to Compass  please let me know.

This is an important opportunity to speak with the teachers, with your child as an active and essential part of the conference.

Year 12 holiday classes

During the upcoming Spring break several VCE staff will run holiday classes and practise exams. The classes will appear on Compass on the students' timetable and will be communicated to them by their teachers.

NAPLAN

In May this year students in Years 7 and 9 undertook NAPLAN tests in Reading, Writing, Language Conventions (Spelling, Grammar and Punctuation) and Numeracy. If your child was involved in this testing you will receive a Parent Report prepared by the Victorian Curriculum and Assessment Authority (VCAA) in the mail in the coming week.
