Engagement Bliss

We congratulate Emma (one of our ES Team Members) and her now fiance Alex on their engagement. Emma and Alex celebrated with family and friends on the weekend and we wish them all the joy, love and happiness the future can bring.

FAREWELL and Thank you

It is with a great level of sadness that we farewell Iva and Nidhi, two of our Education Support Staff, at the end of this term. Both of these wonderful people have helped develop the kind, loving and supportive team we have here at Wollert. Family is always number one here at Wollert and we respect and support both Iva and Nidhi in making the decision to leave with the best interest of family and self. We will miss them greatly and wish them all the very best for the future. On behalf of the Wollert Community we extend our sincere gratitude and thanks.

OUT OF SCHOOL UNIFORM DAY FRIDAY-    LET'S BE KIND

The RSPCA is our chosen charity to support as we end our school term

At Wollert Be JOY is a chosen way of being! To end this term and celebrate our fabulous semester of learning, our senior students have decided to use the last day of term to be joyful but also Be KIND. Students can come dressed out of uniform in anything that brings them JOY - favourite clothes, dress-up, sport attire etc. We ask students who are out of uniform to bring a gold coin donation which will go directly to the RSPCA: Royal Society  for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals-charity.

To add to the joy, if your child has a soft toy that is in the animal theme that brings them a sense of fun and comfort, they are very welcome to bring this on Friday. 

OUR 2023 ENROLMENTS are OPEN!

Do you have a child looking to start with us in 2023? This information and process will assist you: 

To register your interest for a 2023 enrolment, please complete our 2023 Expression of Interest document. Please copy & paste the following link into your browser:

This is the first step in the process in determining the eligibility of enrolment for all students at Wollert Primary School. 

Once we have this information and proof of your address through the supply of a rates notice or utility bill you will then be emailed our enrolment forms to complete. We also require a copy of your child/s birth certificate and immunisation certificate to complete the enrolment process.

Once completed you can scan and email all relevant documents back to wollert.ps@education.vic.gov.au or you can drop the completed enrolment forms and relevant additional documents to our office.

Confirmation of all enrolments and the intended transition process will be communicated in Term 3. 

2023 PREP INFORMATION SESSION

Our Prep Information Session is scheduled for WEDNESDAY 3rd AUGUST. This will be of interest to any families with a 2023 Prep child already enrolled, may be intending to enrol or who have an interest in how we work at Wollert. This session will be conducted virtually via ZOOM from the comfort of your home between 7.00pm and 8.00pm. Look out in future iNewsletter editions for information closer to the date.

Upcoming Events

Open Mornings & Afternoons

Our Tours have been filled for 2023 and there will be no other tours offered. Instead, several Open Mornings and Afternoons will be on offer to our community and future families each term. These open events provide a similar opportunity a tour does, enabling guests to get a feel of how we work at Wollert, while catering to larger groups. Term 3 offers the following school visits:

TUESDAY 9th AUGUST: Open Morning 9.00am - 11.00am

WEDNESDAY 7th SEPTEMBER: Open Afternoon 12.00pm - 2.00pm
