Cross Country Report
The annual Cross Country was held on Thursday, 7th April in beautiful autumn conditions. There were some outstanding team and individual performances as students completed various distances of 3, 4 and 6km. The commitment of students to the Cross Country has improved year-on-year, and it was fantastic to see all students finish with the cut-offs for the first time. It was a great day and a big thank you must go to the whole Mater Dei Catholic College school community for getting involved and making the day such a success.
Whilst Rosarie were declared winners on the day, a re-count was required, with Kennedy House eventually being declared the winner for a fourth consecutive year.
Congratulations to Kennedy House and also to the following students who were named

Netball Report
A big congratulations to the Mater Dei Open Netball team: Hannah Finemore, Lana Duffy, Vienna Randal, Meg Reinhold, Grace Cornell, Josie Daniher, Georgina Grant, Abbey Morton and Mikaela Cole.
So far in the Combined High Schools Tracey Gunson Shield competition, we have enjoyed two straight wins.
The first game saw us defeat Kildare in a tense, tight tussle, finally winning by a margin of 9 goals. The second game against Wagga High was a fast and furious contest, with our girls coming away winners by a margin of 19.
These pleasing results should see us play the leader of Pool B in the semi final next week.
Congratulations to the team on their efforts so far and we wish them all the best for the upcoming finals.
Ms Michel, Ms Langtry and Mrs Priest
