Congratulations Elleina

Congratulations to Elleina (Year 12), who is a beneficiary of the Charles Sturt Advantage program. Elleina submitted an application for this early offer program that assesses Year 11 academic results and the important social/emotional and communication skills of emotional intelligence, empathy and communication skills, motivation, teamwork and resilience. As a result of her successful application, based on her results and evidence of her personal attributes, Elleina has received a firm offer to study the Bachelor of Psychology in 2023. This is a well-deserved reward for Elleina's continuing efforts to achieve her best and provides a wonderful platform that will help her pursue her goals in the future.

Year 10 Mock Interviews

Year 10 students will have the opportunity to participate in Mock Interviews on Monday 23rd May in the Brigidine Centre between 9am and 1pm. Each student will be allocated a 20 minute time slot to meet with an employer.

 

Jacq Campbell, Jane Reid and Nikki Harris from the Campaspe Cohuna Local Learning and Employment Network (CCLLEN), have arranged this event in consultation with the College and local and district employers. In preparation for the Mock Interviews, the Year 10 students attended a workshop about interview techniques presented by the CCLLEN staff on Friday 6th May.

Year 10 Students & Tomorrow Bound Careers Expo 2022

Year 10 students will be attending the Tomorrow Bound Careers Expo on Thursday 26th May at the Bendigo Stadium. The bus will depart from St Augustine’s College at 9.15am and return at approximately 2.30pm. Students are required to wear full academic uniform and bring their own lunch, snacks and water.

 

Tomorrow Bound is an education, training and careers expo. The expo will include a range of informative and interactive stands. Students will have the opportunity to learn about the range of courses, pathways and employment options available throughout the City of Greater Bendigo and beyond. For further information please visit Tomorrow Bound Careers Expo 2022

 

Parents/Caregivers have been sent an Operoo notice. The College will monitor the COVID-19 situation and provide updates if there are any Government and CES Ltd regulations that may affect attendance at this Careers Expo.

Please note, the La Trobe University Echuca/Moama Expo scheduled to be held on Monday 23rd May at the Rich River Golf Club from 4.00 - 6.00pm has been cancelled.
