From the Principal

Dear Parents and Caregivers,

I hope this message finds you well.

It gave me joy that we were able to host our Wonder Woman's Mothers Day breakfast, liturgy and classroom visits earlier this term. Over 100 mums, grandmothers and even a few dads, were able to join us for breakfast and then a beautiful liturgy celebrated with our Foundation to Year 4 Learning Community. You may have seen some of the photos on our Social Media pages and even in the Ky Press. We have also included some in today's newsletter. It was a wonderful way to celebrate the amazing mums of St Augustine's. I thank all those parents who were able to join us.

NAPLAN testing has also taken place over the past two weeks and I would like to congratulate our students for undertaking the NAPLAN testing. Results will be made available to parents later in the year.

You would have also received a letter from myself announcing that Mr Tim Campbell has been appointed as Deputy Principal: Student Learning and Professional Practice at St Augustine's College. Tim is currently employed at St Joseph's College, Echuca as College Leader: Projects and Communication. Prior to this appointment, Tim held the position of Deputy Principal: Student Wellbeing and Development at St Mary of the Angels, Nathalia. I would particularly like to thank Brad Downie, Corey Carver and Erin Emmett for their role as assistant to the Principal in each of our three communities for the first semester.

Take care and God Bless.

Jay Sutton

Principal
