Music Update 

Interesting Fact:  Music learning fine tunes a child's brain to be able to identify sounds that make up speech. Through this fine tuning, children can identify speech sounds earlier, learn to communicate better and faster and wires their brain so it can remain healthy for longer. (Strait, D. L., et al 2012)

Junior Band rehearsals

Junior Band rehearsals begin this week for all of the Year 7 woodwind, brass and percussion students. Rehearsals run from 3.15 to 4pm each week with Mr Parsons in P1.

Ensemble rehearsals

All of the EMC ensembles are now in full swing and preparing for the Mid-Year Concert later this term.

Monday:
