iCAN Challenge

2021

Thursday April 1 2021- At Cruden Farm

Raising funds for the Royal Children's Hospital- 90th Anniversary of the Good Friday Appeal.

We are doing things differently this year by running the iCAN Challenge at Cruden Farm (Langwarrin) in a walkathon style event to raise well needed funds.

Students will be able to walk 25km or 50km and can do this individually or as a team.

In the past we have successfully raised up to $160,000 for this amazing appeal.

The registration cost is $40 per student which will include a hat, t-shirt and medal. There will be supervision for all students involved, parents may drop off and collect students from the venue.

There will be a dedicated EMC aid station, providing sunscreen and a registration table where the students can leave their backpacks securely.

Training:

We will be running supervised training sessions every Wednesday and Thursday from 3.10 pm to 4.30 pm, usually around 6-8kms.

Please meet in the EMC main courtyard.

There will also be two weekend training walks on Saturday 20th Feb and Sunday 21st March (approximately 9.00 am-12.00 pm)
