From the Deputy

Dear Families,

I would like to acknowledge the work of our Student Representative Council (SRC) for 2020 who have been pivotal in working together to speak for the students in our school, representing their views and opinions.  Led by our School Captains, Marley and Sally, the team have worked on a number of initiatives across the year and have met regularly during onsite and Distance Learning to consider ways to improve aspects of school life for all students.

Some of their achievements include:

  • Ride to School Day
  • Harmony Day
  • Wellbeing Week
  • Wellbeing Week 2.0
  • Student and Parent Feedback
  • Transition back to onsite learning

Of course, this doesn't take into account the day to day aspects of their role which included raising and discussing student concerns, following up as needed.

On behalf of the school community I would like to thank Lily, Vivienne, Jemima, Julian, Arlen, Chloe B, Darcy, Seb, Kenneth, Hannah C, Sophie G, Ilya, Daeseung and Lucia for working so well as a team this year.  Your contribution and achievements as members of the SRC have not gone unnoticed.

I wish you all a safe, happy and restful Christmas break and look forward to building on your success with the new SRC for 2021.

best wishes,

Peta Overbury
