Royal Life Saving Society

Royal Life Saving Society is an Incorporated Association, a Public Benevolent Institution and is a Deductible Gift Recipient.

We work to prevent drowning and facilitate healthy, active lifestyles by equipping all Australians with water safety skills.

Royal Life Saving has worked to harness the strengths of the communities we work with to reduce drowning and turn everyday people into everyday community lifesavers. As a dynamic, not-for-profit organisation, we have put together VACSWIM.

The VACSWIM program is a South Australian government-funded program for primary school-age children aged 5–13 years, providing the fundamentals of water safety, survival skills & basic stroke skills.  

Higher awards will also run alongside the VACSWIM program at selected locations for children 13 years and older.
