From the Principal

Dear Parents and Carers,

This year has been one incredible journey and one that will never be forgotten. We have constantly ridden the highs and lows and this was so evident over the past week. One of the biggest highs of the week was receiving the IB PYP Evaluation report. I won’t steal Jayne’s thunder, but I want to congratulate her and Ruth for the amazing work they have done as PYP Coordinators.

As we finish the year, I hope and pray that you are looking forward to a very Happy and blessed Christmas. Fingers crossed that these restrictions allow our families and friends to come together for Christmas.

On behalf of the school, I want to say thanks to everyone for their continued support across the year. It’s been a tough year, but it has been great to see our community support each other so well.

Please ensure you read the information in the rest of the newsletter, as there is important information about the end of the year and the beginning of next year.

I want to personally thank Shane for his leadership over the past five years and for the many great changes that he has brought to the school. We know that he will be missed and we wish him well for his new role in Victoria. To Marion and Kate who we also bid farewell to, we wish them every blessing as they begin their new roles. We also officially farewell Sue Prideaux at the end of the year and I also thank her for her many years of service in our school.

To the Year 6 students and other families leaving our community, we say thanks for being a part of our community and for the contributions you have made. We hope that you take a piece of our community with you.

Happy Christmas everyone!

Tim Kriewaldt
