NESA Applications for Disability Provisions HSC 2021
Year 12 students will receive NESA Disability Provisions application forms by Friday 5 February. The final submission date is Thursday 1 April. Third party professional documentation is required to support both a medical application or a learning disability application.
Disability Provisions applications can be made when unforeseen circumstances arise; however, they are different from Illness and Misadventure applications which relate to a specific task on a specific day.
Congratulations Year 12 2020
It is uncommon for students with a disability to be publicly recognised for their HSC achievements. However, recognition of the broad range of the term ‘disability’ in the context of Education Standards, is a reminder that students of any ability can prepare for and attain outstanding results in the HSC despite the complications of navigating barriers to learning.
