From the Head of Primary

Countless Opportunities
#CountlessOpportunities continue for the whole school community…
Over this fortnight, our Staff have had the chance to be professionally developed under the guidance of the AISNSW. I have engaged in some really robust and helpful decisions with the Primary P&F Group. Our students were successful in the Tamworth Show across many creative categories. We WON the Regional Finals of the Tournament of Minds and had excellent results in the Primary Da Vinci Decathlon. The Boarders have visited Kookaburra Club to get alongside our young students to play and spend time together, an initiative we will continue each week. Our Year 5 students worked in the Senior School Science Labs this week and we have started a partnership between the Year 6 and Year 10 students to build connections. Year 3 have had a wonderful time on Camp in Dubbo and will no doubt be full of stories to tell.
It is fitting that our focus for the week in Primary has been Zest, because we really do bring a wonderful sense of spirit and joy to all that we do.
Psalm 95: Sing joyful songs to the Lord!
Praise the mighty rock
where we are safe.
2 Come to worship him
with thankful hearts
and songs of praise.
