Meeting held Monday 17 June

Hi BRPS families!

Here is an update on the last school council meeting.

Solar Energy

Some of our council members have hit the ground running, chasing up some leads to assist with investigating a move to solar energy to assist with sustainability and reducing the schools electricity costs. We are still in the early stages but watch out for the next school council update as we have set some deadlines so that we may be able to progress with this quickly!

School Holiday (Vacation) Care

We’re investigating options to trial a school holiday program at the school in the near future. An update on this should be available after the next school council meeting, so stay tuned to the school newsletter for more details!

Ideas and support for School, Grounds & Maintenance Program

Jayne Timms is still on the lookout for parents to assist with the idea creation as well as prioritisation of maintenance plans around the school, to keep the school at it’s best! Please get in contact if you are able to contribute to the program!

School Uniform and Dress Code Review

The first catch up to discuss ideas has gotten underway and the feedback of parents and students will be the next step in the process. Keep your eye out for the opportunity to provide feedback in term 3!

Parent Social

The big news from Fundraising is that ticket sales are now on! Don’t wait until it’s too late! Secure your tickets now!!
