Year 12 VCAL Numeracy

In the VCAL measurement unit Year 12V2 students made square metres out of newspaper. After that, their task was to calculate how many square metres would cover the floor of their classroom.

The students then used garden stakes to construct a cubic metre, and checked their estimates of how many cubic metres would fill the classroom.
