Byte Sized Competitions
The Education Perfect Byte Sized competitions were a series of mini-competitions held weekly over the period of 6 April to 1 May, in the areas of English, Mathematics, Science, Languages and Crosscurricular areas. They were created as a way for students to learn in a fun and engaging context, along with other students in Australia and in many other countries around the world.
The Languages section of these competitions was run every Wednesday for a 30 minute period, over the four weeks of the competitions. We had a small number of students participating enthusiastically over the last three weeks of the competition, and the following earned certificates for their participation:
Week 2:
Credit Awards
Annabelle McHugh (60 points) and Sienna Hyland (51 points) - Year 7
Week 3:
Bronze Awards
Jessica Dolby (142 points) - Year 8 and Annabelle McHugh (113 points) - Year 7
Credit Awards
Cerise Dracos (72 points) and Jessica Comas (57 points) - Year 7
Sasha Horan (67 points) and Neve Lamb (59 Points) - Year 8
Week 4:

We congratulate these students and we hope that they show the same enthusiasm and diligence in their learning during the upcoming Education Perfect Languages Championships!
Education Perfect Languages Championships
The Education Perfect Byte Sized competitions were a 'warm up' for the big event - The Education Perfect Languages Championships 2020, which will run from 14 to 21 May this year. Despite the lock-down, we are expecting the Kilbreda College Languages students to put in their usual big effort and get involved in the Championships, while having fun learning in their favourite language!
