Baseball Superstars

Congratulations to Sid Grimmer-Cobbledick and Tylah Laurie who have been selected to represent the Geelong Baseball Association in the State Championships in Bendigo. We wish these two boys all the best at this event. 

Greater Western Cross Country

Congratulations to all the children who competed at the Greater Western Cross Country last Thursday at Deakin University, Warrnambool. Due to our recent rains, the track was very muddy, making it a difficult course to run on. Good luck to Izaac Tate who was second in his race and will now compete at the State Cross Country event on the 5 August at Yarra Valley Racing Club. A special mention goes to Harmony Parker and Bodhi Baker who came thirteenth in their races, therefore missing out on a state position by one place.

Colac Division Soccer

The Colac Division Soccer Championships has currently been postponed due to the Covid-19 Lockdown. A new date will be organised when the lockdown is over. 

Greater Western Football and Netball Championships

If the Covid-19 Lockdown lifts, the Greater Western Primary Football and Netball Championships will take place on Wednesday 28 July at Marty Busche Reserve, Burnett Street, Sebastopol. The children will travel by bus to this event. The bus will leave Sacred Heart gym carpark at 8.00am and return at 4.00pm. 

Netball Championships

The 2021 Netball Victorian School Championships will take place on Friday 13 August. This will be held at the State Netball Centre in Parkville. The girls and boys netball teams will compete at this event. 

Winter Sport

In Term 3 our Year 5/6 children participate in Winter sports afternoons (every second Friday) against our local schools. Children will be involved in a variety of sports including football, netball, soccer, tennis, badminton, 

T-ball etc. First round date to be announced.
