The Homework Club Radio Show

The Homework Club radio show was live in the 979FM outside broadcasting bus at the Multicultural Family Picnic at Staughton College. A big thank you to Jacinta Venuto, Brooke Martinuzzo, David Schembri, and former teacher Amy James, for joining us on the show.

Also a great big thank you to Ian Smith and Colin Vinten from 979FM for setting up the bus at the school and supporting us throughout the show.

Production Room

The Production Room is now in full use on Wednesdays.  Students are able to do voice overs for their radio shows on 979FM, as well as recording their singing in MP3 format and getting their songs played on radio on The Homework Club radio show.

Thank you to Luke Hart for his experience in mixing and making these songs sound superb. Pictured are Fuatino Mulipola and Brian Sefo recording their songs.

Staughton College Radio

Say hello to our new junior announcers from Staughton College Radio and 979FM. Lani Taylor (12) and Zara Selby (13) are now live on the airwaves on 97.9FM, hosting their very own show, Sugar and Spice on Friday afternoons from 4 pm and 6 pm.

Lani Taylor has been in training to do radio at lunchtimes at the school and also co-hosting Fresh with me on Saturday nights, and Zara Selby appears on The Homework Club radio show on a Thursday afternoons and has proven she is worthy of her spot on the airwaves of 979FM.

Congratulations to both girls on their show.
