World Fair 2017
The date is set! Saturday, 25 March 2017. Our amazing World Fair will once again offer us the opportunity to travel the globe in a single day, visiting countries from our wonderfully diverse Kilvington community. It a fantastic family day out and highly anticipated by our students. There will be students’ very own passports to be stamped at each country stall, delicious food, rides, craft stalls, entertainment, auctions and much, much more.
Can you help with the Fair organisation?
Our first organising team meeting is in the Staff Lounge Thursday, 28 July 7.30 – 8.30pm.
We are looking for individuals to manage rides, the silent auction, craft stalls, country stalls, food, bar, bump in/out, volunteer coordinator and individual fundraising stalls - plants, craft, preserves/alumni, toys/books, etc. No expertise required, just a willingness to be involved. The more helpers, the more we can offer.
Then, on Wednesday 10 August, 7.30-8.30pm, also in the Staff Lounge, we will hold a meeting to confirm all our country displays and food stalls. Already we have interest from Canada, India, Bulgaria, India and Israel. You can lead a team’s cultural or food stall, or join in to help your country leader? Come along.
Do you identify with the heritage of another country? Does your family come from another country? Do you want to display and share the culture of a country you have enjoyed visiting or lived in? Then we want you!

Kilvington Cares – Food Packages
Thank you to our generous cooks who have offered their cooking support this term. It has been an enormous help to our families and we are very pleased to be able to offer this service. We have provided 15 meals to help our families this term. Thank you.

Entertainment Books
New orders are ongoing and Kilvington PFA receives 20% of the cost of each book sold to contribute to our fundraising efforts. Please share the link with your family and friends. Books can be collected from School after placing your order.

K24 Challenge
Once again we have been invited to join the 2016 K24 Challenge, to compete as a Parent Team against the four Houses and a Staff Team. The 24 hour bike challenge will be held on the 26 – 27 August and will raise money for Zaidees Foundation. The team that rides the furthest distance on a stationary bike will be acknowledged with great fanfare! We are looking for parents from across the School to join the Parent Team throughout the day and into the night to ride for 20 min slots.
