Junior School House Swimming

Well done to Barrett House the winner of the Junior School House Swimming Carnival. It was a fantastic day and it was great to see many parents there supporting this event.

The emphasis of this Carnival is on fun and participation and it was awesome to see many happy, smiling faces from Prep to Year 6 enjoying themselves and demonstrating tremendous House spirit.

Special thanks all staff in attendance who ensured the day ran smoothly and braved the hot and humid conditions at Swim Right.

Beachside Cross Country

A huge congratulations to Isabel Hayes, Y5, and Pia O'Reilly, Y6, who represented the Balaclava District in the Beachside Division.

This is an extremely competitive event with some very high class runners from inner South Eastern Melbourne.

Isabel was aiming to beat the 37th place she got last year, and did with an overall placing of 29th! Pia also did exceptionally well, placing 42nd.

A fantastic experience for both girls. The running future looks bright at Kilvington.

Year 7 Gold Girls Soccer Team Undefeated

Congratulations on an undefeated season for the girls in the Kilvington Year 7 Gold soccer team. It was an unforgettable season and thanks to everyone who participated. The Gold team was the very first Kilvington soccer team in Year 7 to go undefeated.

Also, a shout out to the Girls Blue soccer team who had an amazing season as well. Thank you to all the staff and teachers who put a lot of effort into the season, and thank you to Katie (Year 12, 2015), who volunteered to help train the Girls Gold soccer team. It was a very exhilarating season and we hope to hear more good news about the Year 7 interschool sports soon.
