A HUGE congratulations to Marcus Hayes and Charlie Cunningham of the Tamworth Thunderbolts 12yrs Men’s Division 1 team for taking out junior runners up at the Waratah Junior League grand finals in Port Macquarie last weekend.
The boys fought valiantly in their grand final and we could not be more proud of how they played. We wish them the best of luck as they travel to Minto next fortnight to play in the NSW State Cup.
The girls U12 team won against Lismore in the under 12's grand final basketball game in Port Macquarie on the weekend - the team was undefeated the whole season. Now they are off to Sydney in 2 weeks to play at the State Cup. Congratulations to Annie O'Neill who was a member of this team.
