BOOK WEEK Celebrations
Each year across Australia schools, libraries, booksellers, authors, illustrators and children celebrate Australian children’s literature during Book Week. St Edward's students will be involved in a range of activities which will be held in Week 4 and 5 this term. The theme this year is "Reading is My Super Power".
This year the children are also asked to come dressed up for our Book Week Parade. They are encouraged to come dressed as their favourite story book character or as something related to the theme, “Reading is My Secret Power”. The date for the Parade is Friday 16th August. The Primary Parade will be held at 10.15am and the Infants Parade at 11.30am. Parents are most welcome to attend.
We are looking forward to a fun filled week.
