A note from Mr Jackson

Volunteers for the Fair
We are on the tipping edge of another great Fair at Rosanna Primary. There have been many hands that have been working in the background this year and we call upon each parent to nominate themselves to contribute several hours on the day to help supervise the stalls. One of the great experiences of our Fair is meeting other parents and celebrating our rich learning community. All you need to do is to visit the login site at https://signup.zone/BJwWPpYT9Ta3myXaZ
Dental Van Visit Huge Response
It was great to see students in and out of the ‘Dental Van’ last week wearing big smiles. Some entered a little nervously but they all left smiling. The van was an initiative this year that provided all students with the possibility of a dental checkup. Over 75 students visited the van over three days.
Working Bee - 9th November This Saturday
We’ll be clearing drains, blowing paths, constructing a sandpit in the maths garden and tidying up around the edges of the school during our Working Bee on Saturday 9th November from 9:00am until 12:00pm. If you can lend a hand to help out for an hour or the whole morning then bring along a hat, gloves, wheelbarrow and a smile for a chance to make our site shine. Stay alert to Compass which will notify families if the Working Bee is cancelled due to poor weather.
Learning Takes a Breath of Fresh Air
Students spent the day in and out of our new STEM Garden on Thursday. It was National Outdoor Classroom Day so students took their learning outdoors to explore the new space. This recently surfaced space is equipped with a diverse range of construction and mathematical equipment. Students were out and about completing mathematical treasure hunts, construction and measuring activities. Fun was had by all.
