ELCC Update

Greetings to you all at the mid point of an action packed Term 2.  This page of our newsletter style ELCC Update shares a brief 'progress to date' summary.  The following pages address the questions raised from our community to date. 

School News

Our dads and kids camp 'Men 'n' Minors' took place in less than favourable conditions over the weekend.  Wet weather certainly didn't dampen spirits. 

This week our The Stage 4 Experience, a range of passion projects and electives for our senior students takes place.   Circus school, zoo trips, farm stay, fishing trip, high ropes and rock climbing, cooking school, soap and candle making, artist workshops - something for everyone!

This term also delivers SEED (Social Emotional Education and Development) Day with its range of opportunities for students and parents to explore positive psychology in education and growth mindset.  Our Musical Showcase featuring junior primary students, rounds out the term.

Early Learning Community Centre Update

Curiosity plans and developments are progressing well.  We are working thoroughly through  compliance and registration requirements with both the Education Standards Board and the Association of Independent Schools SA. 

Staffing processes will begin shortly with the advertisement for the all important role of Director.  Our Architect is putting the finishing touches on the extensive refurbishment plans.  Outdoor architects are designing the sustainable outdoor play and learning spaces. 

A prototype polo shirt has been produced and the Curiosity 'brand' elements have been completed, realising a strong and necessary connection to the existing Good Shepherd Lutheran School brand.
