School Community News

We have some exciting news in the Sustainability space at our school. Mrs D'Amato  was able to contact the Hume Council last week to organise the recycling bins to have new yellow lids to help teach the students the correct recycling colours. 

We were also very happy to find out that the bins are for all recycling items and not just paper and cardboard as we previously thought. We are excited to be able to recycle a range of additional items. 

The Eco Warriors will help with the signage of the bins and promote the correct use of them. This year, our focus has been on reducing our waste. So keep an eye out for student led initiatives happening throughout the year in this space.
