Stadium Stomp

During Term 2, our SRC and House members had the opportunity to participate in the Stadium Stomp at the MCG.

The event consisted of a fun walk/run around the stairs of the MCG, with students running half the course (1900 stairs) and having lunch afterward. This was a great event to burn off some extra energy and bond as a team!

We are proud to say this is the first time a school attends the event, but will definitely not be the last!

The school's participation was organised by Baseline - City of Whittlesea Youth Services and the House and SRC leaders. 

Teach the Teacher Update

Student Representative Council members have been preparing for their Teach the Teacher workshop, in which they will be presenting a professional learning opportunity for all staff members at ECSC.

They have completed their second workshop lead by VicSRC, and will be using this term to focus on their presentations before they present them towards the end of the term.

Students have narrowed down their areas of interest and have decided to run two different sessions, one for our Senior School teachers, and one for Middle School. They will be covering different topics such as academic achievement, VCE, behaviour and engagement.

We  cannot wait to see our SRC members thrive in these sessions!
