Given the number of surprise results, weekly scores were a bit lower than usual, however Zak D (Year 12 Student) did incredibly well and was the only person to pick six winners (16 people managed to get five winners) and as such is this week’s winner. Congratulations Zak, that’s $50 coming your way.
With regards to the overall leader board, Jacob Campbell (Class of 2015) and Brady Rafferty (Class of 2021) lead the way on 71, there are two people on 69 with five people on 68.
Round 12 is the first of four bye rounds with only seven games scheduled for this weekend.
Melbourne v Carlton
Carlton has lost its last four games and while Melbourne has lost two in a row, it’s hard to make a case for the Blues;
Port Adelaide v Hawthorn
Port are white hot right now and while Hawthorn has won its last two matches, I imagine everyone picks Port to win at home;
Eagles v Collingwood
This is all the Eagles need, playing the top side. The only interest in this game is trying to pick the margin, my guess 87 points;
Western Bulldogs v Geelong
Probably the game of the round. Geelong has lost its last three games and will be desperate to turn things around but I expect this game to be very close;
Gold Coast v Adelaide
For a second week Gold Coast are playing in Darwin. Last week they beat the Bulldogs, can they beat Adelaide?
GWS v Richmond
14th v 15th so you would think that this would be close; and
Essendon v North Melbourne
Essendon would be expecting to consolidate their place in the top eight against a team that has lost nine in a row.
Good luck and thanks for the support!
