Parent Code

One of the factors which enables school education to work to its best is when there is a productive and harmonious partnership between students, teachers and parents. It is the privilege of those who work at Calrossy that generally this is the case.

There will be times when one part of the three-pronged partnership holds a different view to the other two (or all three adhere to different perspectives). This is to be expected on occasions for all human relationships. It is vital that at the times there is a difference of opinion, we each know how to respectfully express our thoughts and to honour the role the others in the partnership hold.

To this end, the school has guidelines/codes for appropriate conduct. Staff must adhere to a Code of Conduct which requires holding to school policies and appropriate interaction with colleagues, students and parents.  Students have general expectations outlined in the student diary and on The Hub which outline expectations of being part of the Calrossy community.

The School has a Parental Code, also designed to promote good relationships within the 3-pronged partnership.

The Parental Code can be found in the Parent Forms & Policies section of the Hub (or by this link: https://thehub.calrossy.nsw.edu.au/storage/fetch.php?hash=fda6e69ef429f1ae1b42d4ce67b4a355e41472c9 )

I encourage all parents to read this code as part of us maintaining the very positive nature of interactions within the School, all of which are intended for one purpose – the growth and development of our children in excellence in a Christian environment.
