Stage 4 Igniting Writing Competition

As part of our Igniting Writing initiative and the Year 7 Accelerated Reader program, we would like to invite all students in Years 7 and 8 to participate in an online writing competition. 

The competition will encourage students to showcase their imaginative writing skills as they construct an imaginative piece of writing in a form of their choosing. It will also be an opportunity for our students to flex their creative muscles, hone and refine their writing skills. 

All of our Year 7 and 8 students will be participating in the competition through their online classes in both Accelerated Reader and English. Here they will receive guidance and feedback on their pieces, allowing for growth and improvement as they progress with their writing. 

Students are to submit their pieces to the Igniting Writing Google Classroom (see code in the flyer below), by the last day of Term 3 (17/9/21). Students will receive more information from their teachers in the coming days. There’ll be fun prizes to be won!
