This week three Year Nine GSG students have won a local film competition run by Creative Albany in the lead up to this year’s Cinefest Oz Albany film festival. Livi Arnold, Flynn Huntley and Chaz Durack entered the film competition as a part of the Year Nine filmmaking class and have been specially selected to win the student prize of $200. The theme for this two minute film was ‘Sundays in Albany’ and the Year Nine filmmaking class only had one week to plan, film, edit and submit their short film.
Livi Arnold reflected , “This term we made our Sundays in Albany film. We had a week to do it and it was great fun. I loved working with people I wouldn't normally work with and I'm so happy that we won.”
