The Access and Inclusion team offer flexible and responsive targeting of resources to support the development of, and access to appropriate learning pathways, Ā and to assist in the development of student self-efficacy and increasing independence in learning.Ā  Through inclusive classrooms, Access and Inclusion teachers and Learning Assistants work collaboratively with classroom teachers to implement adjustments and modifications, in order to to reduce or remove identified barriers to learning. Ā These barriers could be as a result of aĀ formal diagnosis of additional needs or disability, high ability, or other factors impacting individuals' learning. The Access and Inclusion team is an integral component in the identification of factors impacting access to learning, and work closely with students and families in facilitating processes for formal diagnoses. This

enables appropriate strategies, adjustments and modifications to be implemented for our students.Ā

Ā

Ā The Access and Inclusion team support learning strategies responsive to identified needs with targeted support or personalised curriculum programs. These will be devised and delivered flexibly and in response to identified need, through a combination of in-class support, small group instruction or in some cases, one to one learning.Ā

Ā

The Access and Inclusion team work collaboratively with classroom teachers to provide for students requiring extension and enrichment in their core curriculum work, in response to identified needs. Again, this can be provided within the classroom, and through targeted small group programs, and in developing personalised learning programs and pathways. Ā
