Course Content
- Virtual Engineering: Replace traditional mechanical elements with 3D design of mechanical concepts and engines. Students will 3D print and construct models controlled manually or via electrical means (batteries or solar power).
- Digital Automotive Skills: Theory classes will cover requirements of the modern automotive industry, including digital skills, CAD (Computer-Aided Design), and programming for controlling the constructed models.
- Electrical Engineering: Explore electrical systems in automotive technology, incorporating batteries and solar power for control. Students will gain hands-on experience in designing and implementing electrical components.
- Metal Work Skills (Optional): Basic metalwork skills including welding, lathing, cutting, and basic car servicing.
- Modern Automotive Techniques: Introduce spray painting, minor panel beating and filling, and vinyl wrapping techniques to align with contemporary industry demands.
