Disco!
It’s time for the children to dust off their dancing shoes and get ready to boogie at the EHPS 'Good Vibes' Disco! The Parents and Friends Club (PFC) invites all EHPS students to dance the night away on Friday 11 August in the School Hall:
- Prep to Year 2 from 5.30pm to 6.30pm (sign in from 5pm); and
- Year 3 to Year 6 from 7.00pm to 8.00pm (sign in from 6.40pm).
A DJ from Kids Disco Parties will be playing favourite songs and there will be prizes!
Tickets are $8 per student and must be booked online via Trybooking by Wednesday 9 August to gain entry into the Disco.
This event is for EHPS students only. Please note that by purchasing a ticket to the Disco, you consent that your child may be photographed at this event. Photos may be be shared on School social media and in the Contact newsletter. Please contact a member of the PFC if you have any concerns with this.
Each child must be signed in and signed out by their parent/guardian. Parents are not permitted to stay onsite in the School Hall or in the school grounds during the Disco unless they are signed up as a volunteer.
We are seeking the assistance of parent volunteers for various roles to help the Disco run smoothly. As parents are unable to wait on school grounds or in the School Hall during the Disco, the best way to take a sneak peek of the dance moves is to volunteer to help. You are required to have a Working with Children Check (WWCC) to volunteer; if you do not have one, it's free and simple to apply for a volunteer WWCC - click here to apply for a WWCC. Provide the School Office with a copy of the email confirming you have successfully applied for a WWCC or present your card when received in the post to be copied for the school register.

Secondhand Uniform
Our secondhand uniform donation day was held today, Friday 21 July. Thanks to the families that donated uniforms to be sold by the PFC as a fundraiser for our school. We have also emptied and sorted through the four lost property boxes. All named items will be returned to students. Unnamed items may be sold at the next stall.
The Term 3 Secondhand Uniform Stall will be on Friday 4 August from 3pm to 3.45pm.

Come along to the PFC meeting next Wednesday, 26 July, (note change of date as previously advised) at 7.30pm in the Staff Room at school.

Carnival!
We are very excited that our school Carnival is back - Saturday 18 November from 11am to 4pm - and preparations are under way! Save the date!
