What a wonderful start to 2022!

We would like to say thank you to all families and students for their support and enthusiasm throughout the beginning of the year. Our starting school visits on the Friday before beginning of term were a huge success. Your effort to come in and visit is greatly appreciated and plays a big part in helping your child to settle in. 

Whilst the first two weeks of the year were not what we had planned, we were lucky enough to have our Reception students attending school and everyone has been busy familiarising themselves with new learning spaces,  routines and new friends. We thank all the families for their understanding and support during this time of uncertainty. All students have made a positive start to the 2022 school year with teachers and students using the first few weeks to get to know one another and form positive relationships. Each learning space has started establishing common class agreements to set the foundation for a successful year.

Learning conferences will be held in week 6 and 7 of this term. It is a time for parents, students and teachers to come together to reflect on each child's transition to school and to set goals based on the  Keys to Success (organisation, getting along, resilience, persistence, confidence).  Further information including how to book online for a learning conference with your child's teacher will come home soon.
