A quick thank you to our newest Academy Girls who patiently participated in our recent 'photo shoot' at the College. The crew were delighted to work with this engaging group and learn about their diverse backgrounds.
NETBALL MENTORS: Yr 8
Some excellent work by Year 8 students Estelle Postiglioni and Kylah Ginnane, who have taken it upon themselves to run a Year 7 Netball competition at lunchtime. The purpose is to help the Year 7 students settle into their new school. The turn-out was very encouraging with one girl heard saying, “this is very encouraging,” and another saying “ this is so much fun.”
A great initiative where the Year 8s are taking it upon themselves to show some genuine leadership in the College. “Well done girls,” one teacher was heard to say and “What a great initiative,” quipped another member of staff.
