Students can be overwhelmed while trying to choose a career path, so here at Saints we do everything possible to help with this important decision. Parents and carers can help too.

OPEN DAY
Go straight from school to the sky
Saturday 12 November from 8am-2pm
Cairns Flight Training is hosting their very first Open Day this Saturday 12 November from 8am-2pm at Offices 4 & 5, 97 Tom McDonald Drive, Aeroglen, and we extend an invitation to Saints students. Hear from industry representatives, chat with our instructors, wander through our aircraft on display and be guided through course options to best suit you!
As well as presentations from Cairns Flight Training, CQUniversity and TAFE QLD.The aim of this Open Day is to educate prospective students or eager pilots about the pathways available to those interested in doing their Fixed Wing (Aeroplane) Pilot Licence. Cairns Flight Training is the only flight training provider to operate directly out of the Cairns International Airport. This is an exciting opportunity for the community as this service was previously not available in the region. Before opening in March this year, students would have to travel for training to other locations around the area if they wished to take to the sky. This not only added expense but also wasted time due to travel on top of the busy students' lives. By opening Cairns Flight Training we hope to make their lives a lot easier by limiting travel time and expenses, making this a very practical option for student pilots and especially students completing their Bachelor of Aviation at CQUniversity.
