Basketball

The LNPS Basketball team had a great time playing in Term 4. We are looking for new team members to join the team!

We play at  Wayville Sports Centre through their minibasketball program, for primary schools!

We need a minimum of 5 play per team but ideally would have 7-8 per team.

 We also need a parent/caregiver to volunteer as the coach.

Games cost $6 per child

Games are on Monday to Thursday, 3 time slots, 3.50 pm, 4.35 pm and 5.15 pm*

 Different grades play on different days:

 Monday - grade 4/5 boys

Tuesday - grade 6/7 boys

Wednesday - grade 4/5 and 6/7 girls

Thursday - grade 2/3 mixed

Shooting Hoops

Have you ever played basketball, well if you haven’t, now would be a good chance? Some of the feelings are nervous, happy, scared, excited and buoyed. our experience was really good. It was a good use of time to be more active. The good things were playing because we got get the ball and shoot some balls into the hoops. The bad bit was when we had to sit on the bench and wait for our turn to get back on the court COME AND JOIN OUR TEAM!

January Holiday Clinic – Dream. Believe. Achieve. Athletics Holiday Development Clinic is on in the January school holidays and involves both coaching and competition opportunities.

Soccer

Fulham United will be running two Come and Try nights for junior girls interested in coming out. 

The sessions will be fun, with girls encouraged in giving the game a go in a no pressure atmosphere. 

Players new to the game or experienced players are more then welcome to attend. 

Wednesday November 28th and Wednesday December 5th

Under 9 and Under 11 Girls

6:00pm to 7:00pm

Under 13 and Under 15 Girls

6:30pm to 7:30pm

Both sessions will be run at Underdale High School

Join us for a fun and interactive session of skills and drills in the school holidays.

DATE: Saturday 19 January 2019

VENUE: Priceline Stadium, Mile End

TIME: 10.00am - 12 noon (8-13 years of age)

12 noon - 2.00pm (14-17 years of age)
