Welcome to Term 4 – (Week 8) Resource Centre Update…  END OF YEAR.

TIRKANDI END OF YEAR INFORMATION

LIBRARY BOOKS

Student borrowing has now closed for the term. If you can please have a look at home and get students to return ALL library books. Class overdue lists have been issued to Teachers this week. Any students still with overdue books at the beginning of (Week 9) will be issued with individual notices requesting a $10 payment for each overdue book.

TAKE HOME READERS

Take Home Readers will need to be returned to class reader boxes by Friday 7th December (Week 8) ready for checking and scanning in Week 9. Please return any Readers to the classrooms.

PARENT LIBRARY BOOKS

All books borrowed from the Tirkandi Library by parents are requested to be returned as soon as possible.

All student medals and certificates have been distributed to Classes and awarded to Students who completed the Premiers Reading Challenge. Well done to all students who completed the challenge.

THANK YOU

A very special thank-you to Annette Cook for her assistance every week with the arduous task of shelving. Annette was also a massive help setting up the Book Fair. I am extremely grateful for your assistance this year.  Annette has been volunteering in the Library for MANY years now and is finally “retiring” this year. Thanks so much Annette. You have been a wonderful volunteer.

Thanks also to Pauline Gaskin for her tremendous help every week stamping, help with processing, and then covering masses of books. You have been a great help to me this year and I am extremely grateful for your help.  Pauline has also been volunteering for MANY years now, and will continue on next year.
