Early Student Collection Reminder
Signing out students ~ Class Interruptions
We have noticed there have been more and more parents picking children up early from school. Each time a message is put over the PA system it interrupts student learning. Please only pick up your child/ren early if they have an appointment.
From Term 2, PA announcements will no longer be made for early collection of students, instead, parents will be given a ‘green pass’ from the office and will need to collect children themselves from classrooms. Parents will also need to sign students out using the student register which is now automated through an iPad in the office.
Thank you for your attention to this.
New - Changes to students end of day routine - If there are changes to students end of day routine, we ask families to notify the office prior to 2.45pm where possible. As we are limiting announcements and phone call interruptions to the classroom this will allow the office to send blue 'Office Note' messages to your students classrooms before the end of the day.
ST MELS SCHOOL FEES
Direct Debits
School Fees & Levies for 2022 were emailed out in February, along with Direct Debit & CSEF information and forms.
Families please check Spam & Junk mail in case it has landed in there. Please do not hesitate to contact the office if you have any questions regarding your account.
2022 Fee statements will now be sent out on a monthly basis.
Centrepay is now available for those families who may wish to use this option to support payment of the school fees. Information sheet and application form are attached below. Once application form is filled in and signed, please return to school office.
The successful running of school programs for your child’s education relies on fees being paid.
Should you be experiencing financial difficulties or family hardship we strongly urge you to contact Chris Summers to have a discussion about your individual situation, for a possible payment plan or fee assistance.

Direct Debits
For those families who are Direct Debit payment plan, these have now commenced. If you have not seen any deduction from your bank account for St Mels school fees where you believe they should have, please contact the school office as soon as possible.
Alternatively if you require changes to your direct debit in any way, please contact the school office.

IMPORTANT - CSEF
Camps Sports & Excursion Fund is an allowance eligible families can apply for that is paid directly to the school for use towards expenses relating to camps, excursions or sporting activities for the benefit of your child.
If you hold a valid means-tested concession card or are a temporary foster parent, you may be eligible for CSEF. A special consideration category also exists for asylum seeker and refugee families.

Parents/carers wishing to apply for CSEF payments for 2022 must submit their application form to the relevant school by 24 June 2022.

This is the main form of communicating relevant information.
If you have not received your Fee Statement it may mean we have an incorrect email address. Please check your junk folder or contact the office with up to date information.
